Front Office Administrator

I graduated from St.Louis, MO and bring more than 31 years of dental experience as a certified dental assistant and front desk administration. My favorite part of working at Cansler Family Dentistry is getting to know patients personally, and making them feel like family!

As the Front Office Administrator, I am the first voice patients hear on the phone, and the smiling face at check in and out. In a down-to-earth, unhurried manner, I help with all aspects of scheduling, insurance, financial, and understanding your recommended dental treatment.

I reside in Conover with my husband Johnny. I have two dogs and two cats, all rescue! I enjoy spending time with friends and family. I stay very active from kayaking, camping, motorcycles, DIY projects, and anything outdoors.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I joined the practice in January 2023. I graduated from CVCC in 2017 and have 6 years of dental experience. Before that I worked in the service industry, so I really enjoy working with people! It is my goal to have my patients excited to come back to see Dr. Cansler and our team. We can help everyone achieve a healthy and beautiful smile so they can put their best face forward.

I live in the Newton area and in my free time I love to spend time with my husband and our four beautful children.

Registered Dental Hygienist

I began my dental career in 1999 upon completion of the dental assisting program from CPCC. I was employed as an assistant for 10 years before returning to college to gain a RDH licensure. I graduated from CVCC while obtaining a Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in 2009. I started with Dr. Cansler in May 2024.

I love to learn and am continuously furthering my dental education. Since 2020, I have obtained a Public Dental Hygiene certification along with a Community Dental Health Coordinator certification.

I have worked in private practice along with instructing dental hygiene students in the clinical setting. I enjoy educating my patients with individualized home care habits to adopt as a daily regimen in order to achieve a healthy mouth. Afterall, the mouth is a very important part of the body affecting one's overall health.

One of my favorite things about my job is to ensure my patient has a pleasant experience to alleviate dental anxiety and fear of their dental appointment. I enjoy working with Dr. Cansler and his staff. We work very well as team players, which is a vital part of a successful, productive dental office. We strive to provide excellence in dental care.

I live in the Newton area and have 3 children. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, kayaking, reading, shelling, and spending as much time with my children and fiancé

Certified Dental Assistant

I am a certified dental assistant with 35 years of experience in General & Pediatric Dentistry. I have been with Dr. Cansler since 2023. My true goal is to help treat and educate patients about their oral health. It is very rewarding for me to help make and improve patient's smiles. My motto is "don't leave home without a smile". I live in Newton with my husband. In my free time I enjoy spending time with our family. My favorite quote is: "Do not let what you can not do interfer with what you can do" (Coach John Wooden)
